BilsterBerg

BILSTER BERG.

What makes Bilster Berg so captivating is its natural topography, which was retained when the circuit was built. Climbs of up to 20% and dips with gradients reaching 26% really put drivers through their paces. It is important to master various racing lines and a change in elevation of over 200 metres. The natural circuit consists of a 1.8-kilometre West Loop and a 2.4-kilometre East Loop, with the East Loop the faster of the two sections. It also boasts two pit lanes, each with four sets of garages. The West Loop puts the focus on the drivers’ technical ability.

DIRECTIONS

EUROSPEEDWAY LAUSITZ.

Opened in 2000, The EuroSpeedway Lausitz is the youngest permanent racetrack in Germany. Built on an old lignite surface mine, the EuroSpeedway Lausitz is one of the most modern racing and testing tracks in Europe. The track is best known for its in continental Europe unique high speed oval. Today the race track is a yearly highlight in the DTM calendar and is also used for other car and motorcycle races as well as safety trainings.

HOCKENHEIMRING.

Refurbished in 2002, the Hockenheimring provides both speed and safety with its generous run-out zones, fast bends and long straights. Demanding passages such as the narrow bend combination in the northern section of the track and the hairpin bend after the long Parabolika provide ideal conditions for challenging BMW Driver Training courses such as the BMW M Race Track Training. The tight bend passages offer an outstanding simulation of country roads and the entrance to the Motodrom guarantees real goose bumps - of the kind otherwise only experienced by real racing drivers.

Nürburgring

NÜRBURGRING GRAND-PRIX TRACK.

The Nürburgring: one of the fastest and safest race tracks in the world. Here, you quickly realise what it means to be fascinated by a race track. As well having lots of cult potential, this state-of-the-art track with its long run-out zones, gravel beds, large elevation gains and demanding chicanes offers everything a racing driver could wish for. The NGK chicane, Castrol-S and Dunlop hairpin show you the level of concentration and vehicle control required to find the ideal line.

SACHSENRING.

The first race on the Sachsenring near Hohenstein-Ernstthal was already held in 1927 making it one of the most steeped-in-tradition racetracks in Germany. The time-honoured natural racetrack quickly became a fixture in the international racing calendar – mainly for motorcycle races. In 1995 a traffic safety centre was created on the Sachsenring opening up new opportunities for car racing, too. Since its conversion in 1996, the racetrack meets the highest safety standards, features permanent state-of-the-art pits, a new start and finish tower as well as one of the most modern race control systems.

NÜRBURGRING NORDSCHLEIFE.

The Nordschleife - also referred to as the “Green Hell” is the legendary section of the Nürburgring and requires precise vehicle control. It holds an irresistible fascination: crests and hollows, rapidly winding bends and a relatively narrow width make the Nürburgring Nordschleife one of the ultimate race tracks, demanding all the skill a driver can offer. In other words, it is the perfect track race training.

RED BULL RING.

The Red Bull Ring lies at the heart of Styria. Even back in 1969, when it was still the Österreichring, it was renowned as an extremely fast track. Long after it had disappeared from the Formula 1 calendar, premier races were once again held on the track known as the A1 Ring from 1997 to 2003. Following an extensive period of refurbishment, the circuit was reopened as the Red Bull Ring in May 2011. With its stop-and-go character, the Red Bull Ring is a veritable challenge for every driver. Elevations and slopes offer exciting diversity and the breathtaking location is well worth a visit in itself.

Mugello Circuit

MUGELLO CIRCUIT.

This is your chance to visit one of the world’s most historic race circuits. The Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, tucked away in the dreamy Tuscan countryside north east of Florence, brings together high-speed corners with sweeping curves and long straights. This thrilling combination of elements has earned the track great popularity and pushes human and machine to the limit.

SALZBURGRING.

In an idyllic corner of Austria, amid the verdant hills and lakes of the Salzkammergut region, awaits a textbook training venue – complete with BMW M models, fully fuelled and ready to go. With its big elevation changes and testing corners, the Salzburgring provides the perfect setting for action-packed driving pleasure and pure joy at the wheel. Practical driving exercises such as challenging slalom courses, holding the ideal line, controlled drifting and much more besides will dial your adrenaline levels up to the max. Here, the thrill of the race track is present and correct for novices and experts alike.
