We are constantly monitoring the coronavirus situation and will keep you informed, as required, on the latest developments.
Due to the fast-moving nature of the infection rate, it is possible that we will have to cancel training courses or you will wish to cancel your booking.
To this end, please note the following:
A full refund of the course price is usually only possible in cases where we cancel the course or where you cancel a booking for a course involving at least one overnight stay, because the Foreign Office has issued a travel warning – after you booked your place – for the country or region in which the course is taking place.
In other cases, cancellation fees will normally be charged according to the terms and conditions accepted by you at the time of booking.
This routinely applies in particular to cancellations in the following cases:
- You may not enter the country or region where the training is taking place.
- Your employer does not allow travel to the country or region where the training is taking place.
- You are infected with the coronavirus or show associated symptoms or have had contact with infected persons which might put you at risk.
- You are quarantining at the time the training course is scheduled to take place due to a legal or official order, due to instructions from your employer or for other reasons (in particular: returnees from high-risk areas).
We recommend that you insure yourself for such cases, for example by taking out travel cancellation insurance. Goodwill refunds can only be made in exceptional cases.
THE KEY RULES OF CONDUCT AT A GLANCE.
KEEP AT A SAFE DISTANCE.
Keep a minimum of 1.5 metres between yourself and other people, and avoid any contact such as shaking hands when greeting people.
WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY AND THOROUGHLY.
Washing your hands regularly and thoroughly is the best protection against contagious infections. Very important: wash with soap for at least 30 seconds, not forgetting the backs of the hands, between the fingers, the fingertips and the thumbs.
WEAR A MASK COVERING THE MOUTH AND NOSE.
To minimise the risk of infection to yourself and others, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
SNEEZE AND COUGH THE RIGHT WAY.
If you sneeze or cough, move back from other people and turn away. It is best to sneeze or cough into a tissue or, alternatively, into the crook of your arm.
SIGNS OF ILLNESS.
If you feel ill, we kindly request that you do not attend the training course in order to protect both yourself and others. Go through the above questions, then consult your doctor if necessary.
