Hygiene regulations and rules of conduct.

KEEP AT A SAFE DISTANCE – PROTECT EACH OTHER.

The health and safety of our participants, employees and service providers is of utmost importance for the BMW and MINI Driving Experience. So, please make sure you follow the key hygiene regulations and rules of conduct for protecting against coronavirus (Covid-19). In this way, we can help to stop its spread together.

IN ADDITION TO THE GENERAL CODE OF CONDUCT, PLEASE ALSO NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  •  Accreditation at the venue is not possible. So, it is essential that you check in online at home before the training course.
  •  Face masks are compulsory in all public areas, in situations where you cannot keep the minimum safe distance from other people and if you are requested to put on a mask.
  •  Please keep a minimum of 1.5 metres between yourself and others.

WE URGE YOU TO ASK YOURSELF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS BEFORE YOUR TRAINING COURSE STARTS:

If the answer to any of these questions is “Yes”, we kindly request that you do not attend the training course in order to protect both yourself and others. In this event, please call our customer hotline without delay on +49 (0) 89 - 1250 16 444  (Monday – Friday: 8 am – 5 pm, at the current local rate).

Please be advised that we are regularly reviewing matters due to the fluid nature of the situation and will make any adjustments that are necessary.

QUESTION 1:

Have you been ordered to quarantine (e. g. after coming into contact with someone who has Covid-19 or returning from abroad) or are you travelling in from a high-risk Covid-19 location?

QUESTION 2:

Do you currently have a temperature over 37.8° C (measured after getting out of bed) or are you experiencing chills?

QUESTION 3:

Are you suffering from a sore throat, aching muscles/limbs, a cough or shortness of breath that cannot be attributed to another known cause (e.g. allergy, sporting activities)?

We are constantly monitoring the coronavirus situation and will keep you informed, as required, on the latest developments.

Due to the fast-moving nature of the infection rate, it is possible that we will have to cancel training courses or you will wish to cancel your booking.

To this end, please note the following:
A full refund of the course price is usually only possible in cases where we cancel the course or where you cancel a booking for a course involving at least one overnight stay, because the Foreign Office has issued a travel warning – after you booked your place – for the country or region in which the course is taking place.

In other cases, cancellation fees will normally be charged according to the terms and conditions accepted by you at the time of booking.

This routinely applies in particular to cancellations in the following cases:

  • You may not enter the country or region where the training is taking place.
  • Your employer does not allow travel to the country or region where the training is taking place.
  • You are infected with the coronavirus or show associated symptoms or have had contact with infected persons which might put you at risk.
  • You are quarantining at the time the training course is scheduled to take place due to a legal or official order, due to instructions from your employer or for other reasons (in particular: returnees from high-risk areas).

We recommend that you insure yourself for such cases, for example by taking out travel cancellation insurance. Goodwill refunds can only be made in exceptional cases.
