Opened in 2000, The EuroSpeedway Lausitz is the youngest permanent racetrack in Germany. Built on an old lignite surface mine, the EuroSpeedway Lausitz is one of the most modern racing and testing tracks in Europe. The track is best known for its in continental Europe unique high speed oval. Today the race track is a yearly highlight in the DTM calendar and is also used for other car and motorcycle races as well as safety trainings.
